Dying Section
10 women are working full time under the supervision of dyeing master. Doing yarn dye by hand techniques in both natural and chemical dye. All the chemical using for dying are azo free.
Weaving Section
The traditional hand looms are using for woven the fabric. Once the dye is completed, warp yarn is received and loaded to the beam were the old warp yarn is preserved for continuing the new cloth weaving. The yarns are knotted to the old yarn present in huddles and the beam is fixed to the handloom were the weaving process occurs. Weaving is a interlocking of two separate yarns at right angles like wafting thread and warping yarn, which makes a cloth material. In hand loom the weft yarn is spun to the small bobbins (prins) that is placed inside the wooden instrument called Shuttle. The weft yarn loaded Shuttle is moved between the warp yarns, which makes the weaving process, appear. The warp yarns are held by huddles in the loom.
Tailoring Section
There are 35 tailoring including 3 cutting master working full time in TSDS tailoring unit. Modern machineries’ are used for stitching, overlock and finishing. perform AQL of each items to ensure of making quality product.
Embroidery Section
There are 50 women are working in embroidery section. Using traditional skill of making embroidery on a garments and home textile items. The materials are eco friendly.
